Courses & Education

We hold annual courses including the cardiothoracic pre-conference course with the Association of Surgeons in Training (ASiT) where we cover common cardiac and thoracic procedures such as CABG, valve replacement, VATS and more. They are aimed at senior medical students, foundation doctors and core trainees. Please check the ASiT website for further details. We also hold regular regional and national teaching programmes aimed at all levels from medical students interesting in a cardiothoracic career to specialty registrars seeking to advance knowledge in curriculum aligned topics. These sessions can be accessed by signing up to our mailing list.
